I know, this blog has lain dormant for some time, since it began actually. I've been trying to setup and run another six blogs besides this one, as well as work, so time hasn't necessarily been on this side. However, I'm determined to get this blog up and running and should happen quite soon, hopefully within the next week or so.
Still, perhaps a definition is in order. The purpose of shortfilmmaking? Well, while the original title was probably meant to mean a blog about making short films, that certainly isn't going to happen, unfortunately. I'm simply not into that scene enough to be a reputable word on the subject. Though who knows - my aspiring career my lead me down that path some day. Nevertheless, until then, this blog will be about filmmaking... in short. I will delve into the more technical side of filmmaking, attempting to dissect films bit by bit, from music to directing to editing. In order to avoid crossing the paths of other great Orble blogs on similar subjects, this blog will mainly focus on independent films as much as possible, though the lure of Hollywood is of course inevitable.
Nevertheless, this blog will be up soon. The picture above, is a hint as to the first post, which will most likely be put up New Years Day, 2007.
